Over 50’s Malta
Fortina 4-star Hotel, Sliema, Malta
Malta
Set in the heart of the Mediterranean between Sicily and North Africa, Malta is blessed with approximately 300 days of sunshine each year and makes the perfect destination for a relaxing off-season holiday. Being so far south, the warm climate is ideal for late Autumn, Winter and early Spring vacations, while the long flat promenades make it great for stretching your legs. It is not just the climate that attracts visitors to the shores of this magical island though – history abounds here and there are plenty of interesting sites to take in, as well as a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes John Galligan Travel’s Irish Over 50’s holidaymakers feel at home. The people are warm and friendly and delighted to greet you. There are regular flights throughout the winter months by Ryanair from Dublin and Easyjet from Belfast.

The 4-star hotel faces on to the seafront promenade and is right beside a large shopping centre. It is very central to everything and is in one of the best locations in Malta. It’s 5-star sister hotel is next door and surrounds the internal gardens and pools. The hotels feature a number of restaurants and clients can dine at a choice of different themed venues on different nights.
The award-winning restaurants serve cuisine from around the World. The Hotel’s “Dine Around the World” concept has been developed in order to enable guests to taste different cuisines every day. This concept has also extended to the Spa, where guests are able to enjoy treatments developed all around the World.
