Wednesday 29 July
Qaqortoq, Greenland. Arrive at 0800 and depart at 1500. The most pictureaque of Greenland's towns, established in 11775, is centred around a square which boasts the country's only fountain and a number of well preserved colonial buildings. Qaqortoq'a brightly painted houses give the town a welcoming appeal, but it is the surrounding scenery that makes this port of call so special. Yopu can join a boat trip into the magnigicent fjordland and around Arpatsivik to the famous site of the Hvalsey Fjord Church. |

Cross the Arctic Circle.
Friday 31 July
Ilulissat, Greenland. Arrive at 1100 and depart 2000. Located at the mouth of the Icefjord where gigantic icebergs tower above the water, Ilulissat is apleasant town with a phenomenal setting. Explore the town with its interesting museum or take a memorablke cruise around the mouth of the Icefjord.
Saturday 1 August
Cruise Disko Bay. As you cruise through the remote and incredible landscapes of Disko Bay, with its endless fields of icebergs and gigantic glaciers, you may be fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of whales and seals.
Sunday 2 August and Monday 3 August
Nuuk, Greenland. Arrive 1100 on August 2 and depart 0700 on August 3. Visit Greenland's small capital Nuuk and possibly take a flightseeing tour over ther spectacular fjords. Alternatively, you could embark on a whale-watching safari.
Tuesday 4 August
Cape Farewell Passage. Situated on the southern tip of Greenland, you are still close enough to the Arctic Circle to enjoy almost continuous daylight.

Thursday 6 August
Reykjavik, Iceland. Arrive at 0800 and depart 2300. Enjoy a visit to the world's most northerly capital. Iceland is a hotbed of geothermal activity, demonstrated by by a range of extraordiinary sights including eerie lava formations, bubbling geysers, hot springs, volcanoes and glaciers. You can join an optional tour to three of Iceland's most impressive landmarks - Thingvellir, Gullfoss and Geysir, known collectively as "The Golden Circle".

Cruising at sea.
Saturday 8 August
Torshavn, Faroe Islands. Arrive at 0800 and depart at 1600. Midway between Iceland and Norway, the Faroes consist of 18 islands, only on eof which is uninhabited. Visit Torshavn, one of the tiniest capitrals in the world, on an island tour of Streymoy, or join a cruise top the Vestmanna Seacliffs, thought to be among the tallest in Europe.

Liverpool, England. Arrive at 0300 and disembark after breakfast. Transsport back to Dublin or Belfast is included in the package.
