The Hotel Perla Marina in Nerja has a privileged beachfront location with wonderful views to the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel was established in 1990 and renovated in 2004. It consists of a 4 storey main building with a total of 102 rooms, of which 17 are singles (no balconies), 80 are doubles and 5 are suites and a 1 storey annexe block with 22 apartments. All our rooms have balconies and sea-views. The hotel's facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange desk, lifts and a café. In addition there is a conference room, a laundry service as well as car parking facilities on site.

This is a really popular hotel with Irish clients. A great mix of food, service and outstanding value for money. Located in the residential area of Benalmadena Costa, The Los Patos Hotel is just 250 metres from the beach and only 8 Km from the International Airport of Malaga. It sits at the Torrequebrada end of Benalmadena, up a narrow road which gently slopes up from the main road. It has large gardens and is a perfect site to have relaxed holidays. It is roughly 1 km away from Puerto Marina, which is well known for its night life.

Hotel Triton, Benalmadena - Wine included with meals!
The Triton Hotel featured for a few months after the launch of the original Over 50's programme in 2009. It was an instant success with our clients and we have been asked for it constantly since then. Unfortunately, the hotel withdrew from the programme and it was not available to us until 2012. We are delighted to have it back. It is a picturesque, four star hotel situated on the seafront in Benalmadena. It is ideal for Over 50s, families and couples looking for affordable, comfortable accommodation to enjoy a relaxing beach holiday. It has a great setting on the seafront surrounded by landscaped gardens. This 4-star hotel has 373 smart modern rooms with air-conditioning and guests can enjoy 2 outdoor pools set in solariums and lovely gardens, good dining, tennis and spa and fitness facilities. It has a new huge outdoor lagoon-style swimming pool set in spacious gardens and terraces with chill-out music during the day and magnificent night illuminations. Ideal for Over 50s as well as families, the huge space enables younger and older clients to enjoy perfect harmony. A strong daily programme of entertainment exists for adults and children, and a mixture of first class professional night shows in summer season (01 June - 15 Sep).
Dining opportunities include Restaurant "SOGOOD" with magnificent sea views and a Pergola, demonstration cooking and a complete buffet service hot and cold for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Sol Aloha Puerto is located alongside the sea with direct access to the popular Carihuela Beach and only 300m from Puerto Marina (the original marina and one of the most popular leisure attractions on the whole of the Costa del Sol). Formerly the Rincon Andaluz Hotel, this hotel was recently purchased by the Bluebay Hotel group and is now operated under new management. Located just outside exclusive Puerto Banus, only a few minutes from the beach, 15 - 20 minutes walk to Puerto Banus Marina and 7 km from the centre of Marbella.
The complex is built as a typical white Andalusian village, with cobbled streets, courtyards and squares, even a small chapel. Rooms with a view from the window to different corners and courtyards. Some rooms are located at the front of the hotel facing the road but most are within the grounds. We have contracted here only rooms with balconies.
There are no lifts in this hotel and buildings are dotted throughout the grounds in blocks of three stories. Who is Eligible?
There are only two requirements:

- Be resident in Ireland
When are these holidays available and where can I travel to?
From September to June (hotel supplements may apply for Christmas, New Year and Easter). You can choose from a range of 4-star hotels throughout Spain. All accommodation and flights are offered subject to availability at time of booking and quotations last for the duration of the call. This programme may change or be withdrawn at any time without notice.
What is included in the "Senior Tourism" package?

N.B. Our agents have done an excellent job of negotiating extremely low rates at all of the programme's hotels. In doing so, they have contracted the basic room type, so please do not expect the best room in the house, guaranteed sea-view, pool-view or balconies. Where possible individual hotels will upgrade your room category but this is entirely at their discretion. Requests for upgraded rooms are passed on but are never guaranteed. Upgrades may be negotiated locally on arrival.
What if I am travelling alone or need a single room for one of my party?
Single rooms are available at a supplement. Usually € 140 per week but this may vary from hotel to hotel. See prices above.
How Do I Book?
Just call John Galligan Travel on (01) 207 6555 or e-mail leisure@jgt.ie. We will need your preferred travel date, duration, chosen hotel and all guests names (as they appear on your passports). We need full payment at the time of booking. We then book your flights and your hotel from the operator in Spain. This process can be done on the spot, over the telephone. We will then post you a confirmation and a booking form to be signed. After that, you just have to enjoy yourself!
What if I have to Cancel?
If you have to cancel your holiday, the penalty will be loss of €300pp if cancelled more than 60 days before departure, 50% of total (or €300, whichever is the greater) 60-30 days and 100% of holiday cost if cancelled within 30 days of departure.
Online-Check-in
If your flights are by Ryanair, you will need to be able to check-in on line, up to 15 days before, but not later than the day prior to departure. Depending on the duration of your holiday, you may need to check-in online for your return flight while in Spain. JGT are not responsible for checking you in with Ryanair.
